What claiming actually gets you
Your photos, not ours
Most listings run on whatever imagery we could source. Yours becomes whatever you upload, which for most cafés is the single biggest visual upgrade available.
Hours that are right
Wrong hours send someone to a locked door and they blame you, not us. You can fix them in seconds, any time they change.
The details we can't know
Which roasters you pour, what's on the bar, whether laptops are welcome. The things a traveller actually decides on, from the person who knows them.
And one thing we’d love, but won’t require
If you find your page useful, put our badge on your site. It tells your visitors a curated guide vouched for you, and it helps people discover BrewAtlas, which sends more travellers to cafés like yours. That’s the whole loop.
To be completely clear: the badge is optional and everything above is free whether you use it or not. We don’t gate features behind it, and we never will.

How we check it’s really you

Find your café
Search above. If you're not listed yet, suggest it and we'll review it.

Enter an email at your café's domain
We send a six-digit code to that address. Receiving mail at your own domain is proof enough for us, and it means no waiting on a human.

Using a personal address instead?
That's fine and very common. The claim goes to a short manual review instead, and we'll usually come back within a couple of days.
Questions we get asked
- Is this really free?
- Yes. Claiming your café and managing your page is free, with no card and no listing fee. Accurate pages make the guide better for everyone, which is why this exists.
- Can I change how my café is described?
- You can edit the description, photos, hours, address, roasters, equipment, brew methods, and amenities. What you can't change is whether you're listed as specialty, because that judgement is what readers trust us for.
- What if my details are wrong right now?
- That's exactly why this exists. Claim the page and fix them. Every edit is live immediately.
- Do I have to display the badge?
- No. It's a favour we ask, not a condition. Claim your page, ignore the badge entirely, and nothing changes for you.
- Can I remove my café?
- Yes. Get in touch and we'll take it down, no argument.
